The International Journal of BABIR Humanity Studies is a peer-reviewed journal owned by the International Science and Research Unit (BABIR). The BABIR partners with more than 200 universities in the Middle East. The BABIR has an interdisciplinary approach to promoting an open and continuing dialogue about the current humanities research issues and future conceptions of humanity theories and practices in an international context. In order to achieve that aim, the BABIR seeks to publish original and insightful articles that present empirical research, theoretical statements, and philosophical arguments on the policy and practice issues of the humanity disciplines. The BABIR is published six times a year.
The BABIR welcomes diverse disciplinary, theoretical, and methodological perspectives. Manuscripts should focus on economy, multicultural education, literature, language, linguistics, cross-cultural issues in social sciences, theory and practice in humanities, postmodernism and globalization, religions, history, and geography. In addition, the Journal publishes book reviews, editorials, guest articles, comprehensive literature reviews, and reactions to previously published articles.
